Ebola vaccine trial in Sierra Leone fights the cold chain and rumour mill

Poor communication, distrust and cold chain challenges provide great obstacles for health workers in Sierra Leone dealing with the Ebola trial vaccine. Guinea has the closest cold chain facility, where vaccines can be stored at minus 80 degrees. Vaccines have to be flown in from Guinea. French speaking heath workers from Guinea dealing with English speaking Sierra Leone, leads to confusion and fuels the rumour mill.
