Drones for medical supply

Moses Bangura from Sierra Leone, is taking to the skies to demonstrate that drones can be a force for good in medical logistics. He developed an open source civilian drone system, to deliver medical supplies. The project forms part of his PhD studies in aerial robotics. Taking into poor infrastructure in Africa, drone technology can be vital assets for medical logistics organisations, especially where speed is of essence (e.g. Ebola). Bangura’s drone is currently subject to government approval.
