SAA drops seven places in “Airline Oscars” – still tops in Africa

Skytrax World Airline Awards, shows that SAA (South African Airways)  has dropped seven places from position 34th in 2015 to 41st in 2016. The South African state-owned airline is still tops in Africa, followed by Air Mauritius (73rd), Ethiopian Airlines (76th), Kenyan Airways (85th) and TAAG Angola (86th). South African budget operators Kulula (93th) and Mango (98th) also made the top 100.  North African heavyweights, Egypt Air and Royal Air Maroc, didn’t make the top 100.
